In 1986, cashing on the booming tourism in the country, he launched Seasun Tours Pvt Ltd, an inbound travel service company. His dedication catapulted that company in to the rank of foremost travel agencies in the country within the short span of three years.
In 1987 he added to his experience a thorough knowledge of travel trade by earning the DIPLOMA IN MASTER TRAVEL COURSE from North American School of Travel based in Pennsylvania, United States.

In 1992 he added yet another feather to his cap by launching SEA N SEE PVT LTD, a travel agency specializing in personalized services. He is the leading light and major share holder of this company and SEASUN TOURS.

In 1995 he revolutionized live-aboard diving in the country by introducing 25 meter MANTHIRI featuring full air-conditioning, large saloon and guest cabins with mini bars and attached heads having hot water showers and hair dryers. This is first of its class and spawned an entire generation of high end live-aboards in the country. MANTHIRI, a member of DEMA, Diving Equipment and Marketing Association based in USA ranks among the finest of her class in the world. She is the Maldivian live-aboard of choice for high paying divers from United States, Europe and Japan.
